What is Dabbing?

Dabbing arrived into smoking culture within the last decade. It’s a method of using cannabis oil in a neat and efficient way. You drop a small amount of concentrate on a hot surface, which causes it to vaporize. Of course, simply heating hash oil isn’t in itself new, dabbing enables you to get nothing but the hash oil’s effects and flavor.

Cannabis concentrate is created by extracting the essential oils of the cannabis plant. These are found in the plant’s trichomes. They are extracted using either a chemical solvent like butane, CO2, or propane. Alternatively this can be by mechanical means using filtration screens.

The concentrates take many forms and are called things like: wax, bubble hash, shatter, keef, live resin or rosin, and more. These products tend to be very pure, and contain between 50% and 95% of the cannabinoid Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC as it is generally known
